Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Aemco Building Contracting L.L.C. collects through this website and in the course of its work, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are

What this policy covers
It covers personal information we handle as a data controller: enquiries made through this website, correspondence by email or phone, and information collected while we carry out construction and maintenance work for clients. It applies alongside, and does not replace, the terms of any signed construction contract.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the quote request form, email us or call the office, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, the location of the project and whatever you tell us about the work. If you become a client we also hold drawings, plot or unit details, site photographs, correspondence, invoices and payment records.
Information collected automatically. Our web host records standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed and the time of the visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure. If analytics or advertising tools are added to the site in future, this policy will be updated to say so.
Information from others. We may receive your details from a consultant, architect, landlord, building management company or another contractor who has introduced a project to us.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation
- To perform a contract with you: programming, procurement, execution, invoicing and handover
- To obtain permits, submit drawings and deal with the municipality, civil defence, utilities and other authorities on your project
- To meet legal obligations, including tax, accounting, health and safety and record-keeping requirements
- To handle warranty claims, defects liability and maintenance during and after a project
- To protect our legitimate business interests, including security of the site, resolving disputes and pursuing unpaid invoices
We rely on your consent where you contact us voluntarily, on the performance of a contract where you engage us, on legal obligation where UAE law requires us to keep or produce records, and on our legitimate interests as described above. You may withdraw consent at any time; where we still need the information for a contract or a legal obligation, we will explain why.
Cookies
The website uses functional cookies set by WordPress that are needed for pages, forms and any login to work. It does not use cookies to profile you or to build an advertising audience. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may then stop working as intended.
Who we share it with
- Subcontractors and specialist suppliers working on your project, limited to what they need to do the work
- Consultants, architects and engineers appointed on your project
- Government authorities, including the relevant municipality, civil defence and utility providers, where a submission or inspection requires it
- Service providers who run our website hosting, email and accounting systems, under confidentiality obligations
- Our lawyers, auditors and insurers where necessary
- Anyone else where you have asked us to, or where UAE law or a court requires disclosure
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Transfers outside the UAE
Some of the services we use — website hosting, email and cloud storage — may store data on servers outside the United Arab Emirates. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider offers an appropriate level of protection and handles the data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to [24] months, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Project records, contracts, invoices and correspondence are kept for as long as the work, its warranty and defects liability period run, and then for the period UAE tax and commercial record-keeping rules require — generally at least five years, and longer for records relating to real property. After that they are deleted or archived securely.
Keeping it secure
We use access controls, protected devices and reputable hosting and email providers, and we limit access to personal information to staff who need it for their work. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send payment card details or copies of identity documents through the website form.
Your rights
Subject to UAE data protection law, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
- Restrict or stop a particular use of your information
- Transfer your information to another party in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave
Email info@aemcobuildingcontracting.com with “Data request” in the subject line. We will respond within a reasonable period and may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.
Marketing
We only send project updates, quotations and service information to people who have asked us for them or who have engaged us. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing does not affect messages about work we are carrying out for you.
Children
This website is aimed at property owners, developers and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, systems or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always on this page.
